A little togetherness this Valentine's Day

This year, instead of just buying gifts for each other, why not treat yourselves to something a bit special. We often find ourselves doing the traditional meal, flowers and chocolates routine on Valentine's Day, but we don't always find ourselves enjoying it. Perhaps the restaurant is too crowded or the service poor or the food disappointing. Maybe the flowers are overpriced and they soon fade and die. Although the chocolates are usually good! But how about doing something a bit different this year and treating yourselves to a shared experience that you will long remember. It's the ideal way to spend Valentine's when you think about it - together... Maybe you want to be pampered, perhaps you want to do something a bit different, or something a little exciting. Whatever your inclination, you can be sure there's something out there that will be just perfect for you both.

Pamper yourselves...

Women have long known the benefits of taking time out to relax and pamper themselves and now men are getting in on the act too. Men have always known the benefit of taking care of their bodies and have long been visitors to the gym. But now more and more of them are starting to take care of their skin with specialised skincare products aimed just at men becoming big business. So why not indulge in a spa day for the two of you with a Relaxation Day for Two. This is your chance to relax, unwind and spend a lovely peaceful day together and if you want to exert yourselves there's always access to the fitness facilities! If he hasn't already discovered the benefits of pampering himself, he soon will! What a great way to spend Valentine's Day together!

Be a little bit adventurous...

For anyone who wants to try something a little big different, what about a ride together that you won't soon forget with Sphereing for Two. This is bound to bring you closer together as you tear down the hill at speeds of up to 30mph strapped inside an amazing inflatable sphere! You'll feel like you're defying gravity together as you fly down the hill. This will be like nothing you have ever experienced before and it's your chance to share this amazing experience together. A wonderful, playful experience that's just a little bit different for Valentine's Day. Anyway, you know the old saying, the couple that play together, stay together!

For anyone who doesn't do sentimental...

There are an awful lot of people out there who don't do grand romantic gestures and hate all the hearts and flowers that traditionally go with Valentine's day. So what are they supposed to do on Valentines to show they really care for their loved one? How do they avoid all the romantic stuff but still get the message across? Well if you both want to get away from anything romantic and sentimental, but still spend the day together, why not try something fun and completely different and try Paintballing for Two Discovery. This is an exciting game that's guaranteed to be unlike anything else you may have done for Valentine's before! Probably not for the fainthearted but you'll be guaranteed a great time together and after all isn't that what Valentine's Day is really all about?

If you have any other gift ideas for a little Valentine's Day togetherness, or if you've spent a really special Valentine's Day that you want to share, why not let let us know!
